If the answer to these questions is "I'm not really sure" then we can help you meet your legal obligations as defined under the "Control of Waste" Regulations.

It is worth remembering that European and UK Governments place waste issues high up on the environmental agenda. Waste collection, handling and disposal will be subject to significant increases in costs and tighter regulatory controls over the next few years.

The intelligent "management" of backdoor waste is often overlooked, but it can reduce costs and ensure compliance with legislation.

Duty of Care Audit

We will arrange a meeting with you to discuss your requirements, complete a simple checklist of the paperwork you already have in relation to the waste company currently used and provide you with feedback as to any deficiencies observed at this stage

We will carry out some background checks on the waste company, make arrangements to visit them, look at their operations, take photos, talk to staff, and obtain copies of all relevant paperwork on behalf of the client.

We will record all waste materials that are recycled and follow these to their processing plants so that you *the client* have a completely documented system of all of your waste products. We may also be able to offer advice on more cost effective methods of waste disposal and recycling.

Upon completion of the visit our consultant will collate all of the documentation and compile a detailed report, showing exactly what happens to your waste once it leaves your premises to the point of which it goes to landfill as its final destination.

The report will, where appropriate; make recommendations with regards to the waste contractor, company systems, waste disposal and recycling cost implications in addition to a number of template documents which you may wish to add to your existing system.

Please telephone for an informal discussion concerning your requirements.
