S.I.T.O Training

This training course is set up by S.I.T.O (Security Industry Training Organisation) to cover the first level of Security Officer training.

S.I.T.O

This organisation is recognised by the government as the occupational standards and the body feels that the security and associated industries role is to provide and develop training and qualifications for the national qualification frame work. It is also an international awarding body for vocational and knowledge based qualifications.

Who the course is for


This is the basic course required for security officers and is designed to teach them the initial aspects of security and how it works.

The course consists of 11 modules:

To provide an understanding of the main concepts of security, promote the benefits of security and to clarify the roles & responsibilities of security officers
